VCD (Video CD)
A VCD will play in either the popular Windows Media Player found on most computers and also on most new DVD players.  We can record up to 72 minutes of your VHS, Compact VHS, MiniDV, 8mm, Hi 8mm, PAL or SECAM tapes on a CD.  We make what is called a VCD.  This stands for Video CD.  The file extension is called .DAT.  The quality is very good for playing in a CD-rom Drive at 320 X 240 screen size.  (Because Video CDs are created for 320 X 240 viewing size, when played on a DVD player at full screen, there is a little pixelization of the image and during transitions like dissolves and other effects.) 

S-VCD (Super-Video CD)
S-VCDs will play on most new DVD players but not in all CD-Rom drives.  The quality is much better than a VCD with over 250 lines of resolution full screen.  We can record up to 34 minutes of your videos on a CD in the S-VCD format.  The file extension is called .MPG.  In order to play S-VCDs in a computer, you will need software, i.e.: the Mediamantics DVD-Express Player to play the file.    (Transitions look better from an S-VCD but there is still a very slight digital look during transitions, not nearly as much found in the VCD format during transitions.)

Impression (MPEG 2 Technology)

This format plays in most CD-rom drives.  Not program is required on the computer playing this CD-rom because the required player is burned on to your CD-rom.  So the end user can simply put the disk in the computer and watch the video presentation.  The video plays full screen and has very good quality.  Screen resolution is 640 x 480 with varying lines of resolution.  You can hold about 20 minutes on a 700mb CD.

Example #1:  A 30 Minutes would be $10 + (.15 x 30) = $14.50 Total
Example #2:  A 74 Minutes would be $10 + (.15 x 74) = $22.10 Total
